Paper Stock Introduction
When customizing off-the-shelf notebooks like Moleskine, Castelli, or our own range, the notebook will have a specific paper stock. It’s important to keep this in mind when selecting your off-the-shelf notebook. Some notebooks come with different paper stock options as standard; for example, Moleskine offers ruled, plain, and dot grid options. If you opt to build your own notebook, you have full control over the paper stock, allowing for a fully customized product.

Importance of Paper Stock
Choosing the right paper stock for your notebook is crucial, as it affects both the functionality and aesthetics of the final product. The paper quality can influence writing comfort, ink absorption, and durability, making it an essential element in the notebook creation process. At Bookblock, we understand the significance of high-quality paper and strive to provide the best options for our customers.
Environmentally Sound Papers
We are committed to using environmentally sound papers in our notebooks. Our focus on sustainability ensures that our products not only meet high-quality standards but also contribute to the preservation of our planet.

Understanding GSM
Grams per Square Meter (GSM) is a measurement of paper thickness and weight. Higher GSM indicates thicker and heavier paper, which affects writing quality, durability, and cost. We offer a range of GSM options to cater to different needs and preferences.
As standard most notebooks are made using either 80 or 90 gsm paper which is durable yet light. If you wanted to ensure your pages are thicker and allow less ink to pass through then we recommend opting for a heavier paper of approx 110 or 120 gsm. Please note that opting for a heavier weighted paper will reflect in the cost of the product.
